What ODOSY Can Do For You

1. We will help you understand the program and make sure you know what your responsibilities are
2. We will help you to qualify for our training so that you can get our services at NO COST
3. We will help you find your strengths, weaknesses and interests
4. We will help you find the best job for you
5. We will help you put together a career plan to get the job you want
6. We will help you get NO COST training to qualify for your job
7. We will help you get tryouts or samples of jobs so you can REALLY see if the job is REALLY what you want
8. We will help you with personal needs such as-- transportation, child care, counseling (credit, substance abuse, family problems), and legal issues as well as other problems that stop you from getting a job and a career
9. We will help you find the job you want and then we will help you apply for that job
10. We will help you keep your job and we will show you how you can make it into a career for yourself

Social and Personal Needs Assessment

Identifying and addressing personal needs on an individual basis.  This could include transportation, childcare, clothing or other needs that could impede employment.

Vocational Assessment

Strengths, weaknesses, skills and interests will be identified through testing, work history and counseling.  A realistic vocational goal and a plan to meet that goal will be developed.

Job Search/Job Readiness

Individual and group counseling sessions on how to obtain employment.  Ongoing job coaching and follow up services once employment is attained.
